The second London production of Turkish Delight the Opera ran at the famous Black Cap in Camden, London. It starred Natasha Day, Sophie Juge, Gareth Bretherton, and Daniel Lawrence (dir: Beky Parry)

Directed by Becky Parry and Giles Howe, the second production to be shown in London (starring Natasha Day, Sophie Jugé, Gareth Bretherton [reprising his role as the Brit], and Daniel Lawrence) ran at cabaret bar The Black Cap in Camden, London in August 2006. Extra songs were added, the plot made more linear, the characters developed, and a slicker story told in a new fully-staged production.

Many changes had been made since the show's inception. The storyline and characters are now clearer, new songs have been added ("Over You", "Allegory"), and some taken away. A church was majestic place to open the show's first workshop, but an inappropriate place to accommodate much of it's dark humour! The Black Cap with it's long history of alternative entertainment (gallows, cabaret club, drag bar) was an ideal place to perform the second production. Turkish Delight has the privilege of being the first opera to be performed there.
