Katy acted as notation consultant to Giles Howe throughout the arrangement of this work; under her supervision as musical director, certain harmonies, accompaniments, and rhythms have been improved upon to maximise the music's potential. Some pieces written by Giles Howe are based on themes written by or with Katy Lipson.

British law states that an individual's work is placed under copyright law as soon as it leaves that person's mind and is placed in some physical form, e.g. a musical work written in manuscript or recorded. Once in physical form, as long as it is an original work, copyright in that work is automatically vested in the person who put the concept into material form. "Turkish Delight" is fully protected under the international laws of copyright which are enacted in the UK as the 1886 Berne Convention, and the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. The rights of Giles Howe to be identified as the author of the work has been asserted by Giles Howe in accordance with the above act, he acknowledges Katy Lipson as a co-writer of certain pieces. Organisations looking to produce the show must without exception obtain written permission to perform from Giles Howe prior to casting. Although   a   cohesive   piece   of   theatre,   'Turkish   Delight'   can   still   be   regarded   as   a   work - in - progress   and   is   thus   subject   to   change   at   the   writers’   discretion.
